Arboga drill lubrication, bits ect
G/day metalheads,
I picked up this nice little radial arm drill off ebay, I was actually looking for another lathe and I heard it calling out to me, "quick buy me shedhappens I wanna go to your house", it sure must be a crappy brand of drill because none of you blokes were in there bidding against me.
Anyway it cost $102.50 so something had to be wrong or busted, yep it needs 5 oil cups, a couple are missing and 3 have no caps.
I emailed Arboga, no joy there. So does anyone know where I could find them or even something alternate that I can use?
These original cups just push in, no thread.
Can anyone tell me what oil the g/box likes to drink? That would be the 2 on top of the g/box.
cheers and thanks, shed

Want to sell for $103.00? You might get arrested for stealing it.

WOW very nice. That should be in the gloat section. I can't believe that there was no bidding against you.

G/day Kryn, it was the way the ad was worded, you know I did consider posting it in the ebay section when the clock was ticking,

I'll give you $110 for the drill head, you can keep the rest. I just use 80/90 gear oil on mine and I don't do it that often.

Hi John, welcome back to the forum and congratulations on picking up the Arboga.
I have the mill/drill EM 835 still not in my possession yet until I make room.
Will drop in shortly for a cuppa

Nice one! I had the same issue. I threaded the holes and got some some screw-in cups from this mob: LOT 20 M6 x 1mm Brass Grease Oil Cup Oiler Spring Flip Cap for Hit Miss Engine | eBay
