Any SE Qld members keen for a combined order through ARC Euro Trade ?
I'm looking to do an order for some tooling through ARC Euro Trade UK, wondering if anyone else local to me (Toowoomba area) was interested in doing a combined order and splitting the postage.
Engineering Tools | Lathe | Milling Machine | Model Engineering | arceurotrade.co.uk
I'm looking at things like
62mm Boring Head Set with Integrated R8 Arbor
62mm Boring Head Set with Integrated R8 Arbor - Arc Euro Trade
Stevenson's ER40 Collet Blocks (yes I know I could get these from Ausee Machines & Tools but they don't have the boring head)
Stevenson's ER40 Collet Blocks - Arc Euro Trade
Will be looking to make the order in the next week or two, feel free to reply here or send me a PM
Cheers
Wayne
P.s. sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, couldn't work out if it should be in here or general discussion ?

At this stage I am planning to place the order tomorrow night (Tuesday 15th November)
If anyone wants in let best to let me know ASAP
Isn't it funny that I had not heard of RDGtools before you posted it, looks like I may need to buy some stuff off them now
Model Engineering and engineering tools online from RDG Tools Ltd Home Page (Engineering Tools) Tel 01422 885069 /884605
Strangely these seem to be either not available from most places or some want $5+ per each...

Those button oilers at nearly £7 Uk pounds each are very expensive. I would guess made in India or China. There used to be a firm in Shefield Uk that made them, you could buy a box of 100 for a few pounds. Saddly they have gone the way of many engineering manufactures.

Hi BaronJ,
I recently brought two of those little oilers in Australia, cost $3-95 each. The postage, which is now out of control over here cost $10-00. So I should have ordered the lot of twenty.

Hi Bob,
Those prices down there are ridiculous and so is the postage. Though the postal service charges here have gone through the roof recently, particularly if you need to send anything outside the EU. The guy in the post centre blamed it on stuff from China, saying that they have to deliver letters and packages sent here even though they don't get paid for it, pushing our postal costs up to compensate.Best Regards:
