Default Jensen 20G Model Steam Engine Running DIY Steam Hammer

I've seen some great things over the ten years I've been a member here made by you guys. Here's a pretty basic 'steam hammer' that I made and it's running off a Jensen 20G Big Power Plant steam engine. I'm tickled pink that I made this

    Default Great job!

What a great job. Can you make a slightly bigger one: a 24 oz ball pein one side and a nice big sledge on the other, that would go down really well in my workshop. What is the middle bit for?

    Great work Jim
But Jim...does it hurt if you stick your finger under one of the hammers...a hammer is not a hammer until its hits a finger...lol

    LOL

I tell you what I have search high and low for. Remember caps that came on a paper roll for your cap gun when you were a kid? I can't find any toy store that stocks them these days. You know the ones that you used to hit with a hammer on concrete to do the whole hundred shots in one hit They are now all in plastic 8 shot 'magazines'. I would have liked to have had my Grandkids (with safety specs on) put a few of them under the hammers.

You can still get those little.. 'popping throws'. The ones that look like a pea in a screw of tissue paper. Try the dollar store.
