Thread: Whats this small press?

Found this on verge pickup. Thought it might be something to do with reloading but dont think so after searching.
Any ideas?
rotating the handle moves the slide downwards but slide doesnt rotate as all.

My initial thoughts were a button making press, but, after seeing the other pics, I believe it's for putting eyelets in canvas/shade cloth etc.. The bottom section would have
You would need to measure the dimple, in the to part of the press to determine the size of the eyelet, unless you're able to make different sized punches.

Definitely a eyelet press you change the die depending on eyelet size, you can also get dies to fit snaps. If you want sell it let me know

Now that you've helped I can see how and what it does.
The existing die looks like its for a 15mm Snap buttons but its missing the parts to do the bottom part.
Probably might be handy for work on my van as the bottom part is usually screwed on anyway.
