CVA mill motor mount
This will interest Andre .
I discovered that a standard modern flange mount motor will fit snugly into the original CVA motor end casting .
I made up 4 angled supports and my neighbour brazed these onto the CVA casting . I can now bolt the new flange motor to the old CVA motor end casting. I need to turn up a shaft extension for the new motor .
I am using a 1hp motor , the ancient original motor is 3/4 hp 950 rpm . Mike
