    Default Xmas Presents

It appears that Welder is getting a pretty good Xmas present this year. Not sure if it will arrive in time tho.

    Congratulations Andre.

What is the story with customs?

Keith did a video specifically on the customs issue for the UK recipient and donations from the community. I presume they have high customs costs. He only said he hopes the other international recipients will be able to handle it.

Congratulations Andre, a worthy winner of the Keith Fenner Toolbox Challenge.

Don't forget to post pictures of the stuff when it arrives.

Well done Andre, you deserve it.

GST and duty is applied on anything imported over $1000. No exemption for gifts. Have no idea what customs will do in this case. I could not see them valuing that at over $1000. A lot if it is second hand goods is it not?

Happy to throw a little your way if the customs bill is a little steep.

That's excellent. Well done Andre. I couldn't think of a more worthy recipient.

    Andre,

Warmest congratulations on you winning the Keith Fenner Award. You have certainly deserved it.

It seems like only yesterday when we were conversing with a young high school student with a healthy interest in all types of metalworking tools and machines.
I have often wondered how you manged to house them all.

    Again best wishes
    Grahame

    Well done Andre,

Look after them but make certain you use them.

He who has the most tools does not win; He who uses the most tools wins!

(Well that is my interpretation, Time to put on the armour! )

Seriously though, am very pleased for you.

    Regards
