    Default old micrometer 0 - 25

    G'day All
Thought you might like to see an old mic they have in F & M at work.

Why am I posting this you might ask - well its probably not a brand that many would be familiar with. Its even set up on a stand.

That black thing on top of the stand is my wallet- to give you the scale.
The barrel turns. Used to show how to read one.
It was made at Newcastle Tafe College hence the NTC name. I'm not sure how old it is. Its been there for the 20 years I've worked there but I can't remember ever seeing it when I was a student there in the mid 1970's

How big is that Maxi-meter????? Going by the size of the bill holder, I'd say about 1.5 metre high and 1 metre wide.

Shouldn't it have "for guidance only" on it?

Unfortunately, with some of the students, this would be a far more accurate description.
