Thread: Hydraulic oil ISO 32 - like Shell Tellus

Hi,

Anyone know of an outlet in Sydney towards Rockdale way, where I can readily buy ISO 32 hydraulic oil (eg Castrol Hyspin) in a 1L, 4L or 5L container, but not bigger?

Ready supplies seem often to be in 20L quantities, or 42 or 68 grade only.

I bought a 5ltr bottle of this stuff from one of the big auto parts stores, can't remember which one now but probably autobarn or supercheap INDUS PRO HYDRAULIC 32

Yes, I did previously see the jack oil. I never mentioned that I need it for the headstock of a medium size lathe. Do you reckon that jack oil is an equivalent of Hyspin or similar? I had not thought along those lines.

^^That stuff should be OK. Not Rockdale, but Green Goanna would have Tellus in 5l out at Granville...pay a premium for their decant and the container though. I've got 46 in 10l from Pirtek in the past, can't recall 32, maybe they're worth a shot too?
