Thread: Snake Eye bolt Tool

Son required another tool for work to tighten Snake Eye bolts ( never knew there name till today)

Using a sheer pin which after drilling the holes right through pins were press fit (hammered) in to protrusion depth of 4mm, Son will fit 3 12mm nuts to the thread and lock them together so he can use a socket or spanner. This was mainly for a socket as the work area restricts using a spanner. I do not have a pic of finished item totally son and grandsons were here so camera was otherwise being used by Nana.

The sheer pins were cut off level if he sends me a photo of the tool in use I'll post it.
