For the Metrology people.
G'day All
We (I) have been having a big clean up at work and chucking out a heap (30+ years worth) of old lecture notes, catalogues etc. In among all this junk I came across an old book on metrology. It was written by a MJ Puttock of the CSIRO. Theres no date in it but I think its pre 1966 as its in Imperial and in one part he talks about the size of a penny.
Its only a small, cheap book and it gives a basic idea about Metrology.
If anyone wants it let me know and I'll stick it in the post. Maybe you can send it around to those interested, like the traveling stick.

I have a book scanner here, I can scan, convert to pdf and upload to a server, if no one else wishes to do it...

I dont have time to scan it myself but if you want to do that I'm sure there would be a few here who would be interested.
Do you want me to send it to you? If so PM me a postal address and I'll send it

So you're not to far gone yet.

Have you ever done the "crawl out of bed at (insert obscenely early time here), put the work clothes on, had breakfast, headed for the door" only to suddenly realise it's Saturday or Sunday? Then spend the rest of the day feeling cheated out of a sleep in?
I managed to make it to a post office this arvie. Its in the post.

Metrology???????
I had to look up the word as I thought it was about the weather. I got kicked/resigned out of school at 16.

I wondered if there was already a copy online so I Googled and found no result for your Book Bollie, but this title is possibly quite similar in content, and the online link is below for anyone interested.
I'm not sure how you plan to distribute the scanned copy Richard, but I too would be interested in having a look if it's not too bothersome. TIA,
Rob.
