I believe yours is a later model. It also has an electric spindle by the look of it(which means some sort of old school frequency converter, I wonder if that's still working?). But certainly many parts are the same so while my manual might not cover everything it will be a good start.
I don't think you can PM me with only two post so you will need to post an email address I can use.

hascotech Check your email. Please let me know if it works or not.
For everyone else. Is there somewhere manuals can be uploaded to? or are there many issues with that?

Stu
The Woodwork Forum has a Library section, it has a sub sections for Manuals, MSDA, Calculators etc. Would be handy to have one on this site.

I'm not sure I fully understand the questions but I will give it a shot.
Bearing in mind I am far from an expert on these machines, my answers will be based on reading the manuals, looking at my machine and one other I know of and bits and pieces picked up off the internet.
Looking at the picture of your machine it appears to me to have an electric grinding spindle fitted. This requires(well as built it required) a frequency converter(109.jgp or page 31).
The frequency converter is used to power the grinding spindle. (104.jpg 27 and 105.jpg 27a)
If you don't have that I'd say you maybe in trouble. While these days it maybe possible to replace it with a VSD, I don't recall having seen any mention of the voltages or frequencies used.
Perhaps I am wrong and you have an air grinding spindle.
Some closer pictures may help.

Ok, that sure looks like an electric spindle to me*.
It also appears to have hydraulic quill movement. The manual shows a separate "hydraulic group" to power that. 75.jpg page 2 and 93.jpg page 19. Do you have that?
I believe there should also be a fog lubrication system but that maybe mounted on the other side of the machine.
Pictures of
the right hand side of the machine,
the back,
the four sockets(?) near the back of the left hand side,
inside the control box in the base(behind the door in the front of the base),
and of the control panel,
may help sort some of this out.
*While the manual appears to show the "frequency converter group" as a separate unit, its just possible its been built into the base but I think that's unlikely as I doubt they would want any heat sources in there. Also I'm guessing that the four sockets on the left of the machine are where the "frequency converter group" plugs in.
