CQ6230A work lamp question
Hi guys, anyone had to replace thier CQ6230A work lamp yet and if so where did you get it? It is a standard Edison Screw base but for safety reasons operates at 24VAC. Any information would be helpful, thanks in advance. [email protected]

Hi Ron,
First.. Welcome to the forum!
I never had a work light on my CQ6230 when I got it... So I have fitted a standard led light fitting.
But to answer your question, what about http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rough-Ser...item4cfbe8d793

PS.. Not a good idea to publish your email address like that, you'll just get harvested by spammers.

Hi guys,
I don't think there's ANYTHING standard about the Edison light fitting. The fittings sizes seem relative to the voltage
They are designated E15,E14 ,E1p in the 240 volt range, but E10 & E 11 for 24V. I picked mine up from an auto electrician. Also available as a tungsten globe ,if I recall correctly.
Take the sample with you for the vendor to get the right size and wattage or supply them with the info on the fitting. There also Australian vendors that can be found by Googling on the net.

Grahame and Ray, Thanks. My Lathe came with the work lamp installed from the factory. The lamp base is the same as our 240V lamps and you can put as many as you like and you get bugger all. It was only when I began to investigate the fitting that I discovered it was 24V. I will order one from Ebay and see how we go. Had me going for a while!!!
