Default Anyone got a M16x1.5 tap and die?

I need to make a little adjuster. I could buy the part but it is around the same price as the tap and die to make it. Anyone got a M16x1.5 tap and die (or finer - for the imperialists , 5/8", 17tpi or finer) that I could borrow for a couple of threads? (Plan B is single point turning a nut and bolt but that is a lot of work for a once every so often use adjuster)

I do, but the irony is, it would probably be cheaper to buy a set from China and have them post it, then for me to post it to you from Qld...

True, but my limited experience of cheap taps and dies suggest that they don't always cut...

Thanks Roger. I've had a couple of other ideas suggested as well so I'll think through and send you a PM. Tapping drill size would be 19/32" or there abouts?
