Cool Treadmill motor swap flywheel reworked.

Made an adapter to bolt to the cast iron flywheel to adapt a larger motor where the orig was threaded on. Made up a hub with a flange and cut the ribs from the flywheel to fit. Then bolted it all together then added the bore and keyway...Bob

    Neat job.

Did you bore all the way through to the pulley side? Or did you have to match up to the existing bore? (which must have been tricky, if you did).

I indicated off the OD of the flywheel in my 8" 4 jaw chuck and cut the ribs for the hub which i made in another chuck first. He wanted a new hub welded to the flywheel which i didn't want to weld on it but i could have...Bob
