How and when might you start this sort of promotion please ensuring all the forum members get access to all you products.....
Sounds a good sort of deal to me as we all need to save some money whether working or in retirement.....
Maybe worth having a chat to Neil [Mr Ubeaut] our benevolent director to become a forum sponsor/supporter...
Cheers, crowie

Good thinking. It would be best not to fall foul of the administrators before your posts were in double figures .
I think a PM to Neil (Ubeaut) by Ben in the first instance would ensure all the ground rules are followed, which is mainly to say that Ben doesn't fall foul of protocol.
S & A has a good product line so I think it is worth pursuing.

Thanks for the confirmation Ben. It is not only the USA. There is some anti-China sentiment here as well. Not that there are many alternatives in the abrasives space. Maybe Pferd or ATI Garryson for first world manufacture(?).
I also concur with Crowie and Paul about protocol.

I have had one experience with Pferd disks, 14" chop saw ones. In a word they were .......
Ben, do you have a recommendation on speeds for the strip disks? After the josco one i used last week lasted very poorly i'd be keen to try yours......
Thumbs up for the good business attitude, its good to see your not whinging about overseas competition and being proactive!

Thanks For the offer Ben! Everyone loves a good deal!
I'm a supporter of buying Australian where you can, but the cost of our abrasives have always been expensive. I get all my belts sent over from the states as it's less than half the cost and faster than getting them here in OZ.
China makes their products to the standard their customers request. They can make cheap $2 shop products or they can make high end and compete with the best of them.
I don't have any problem buying 'made in China' but the trick is to do you research.
I will put in an order when I run out!

Ben called me a fair while ago about the problems I posted having with some of his grinding discs. Apparently there was a batch of duds a while ago that were too hard that had a few complaints. He sent me some replacements (and some bonus safety glasses) which I had a chance to use over the past couple of weeks. Happy to report that the new ones are great so I must have just got some of the duff ones last time.
I feel like a bit of a dick now for not contacting him earlier to sort it out. Im really impressed with Smith and Arrows customer service so if their products aren't reason enought to give them a go I reckon that is.

Thanks
Hi Gallegos
Thanks for taking the time to try the replacement wheels - really glad that you are happy with them - and thanks also for taking the time to get back on here and let people know how they went, I appreciate it mate.
Any of our customers are always welcome to contact us through our standard channels or me directly at my personal email address with any thoughts, concerns or suggestions about our range.
We recently had a customer contact us with a suggestion that we offer a replacement pack of HSS M2 Drill Bits in the middle ranges of a Box Set that always get lost or broken or worn out. We took his advice and our Replacement Set of 18 bits (2 x 3.0, 3.5,4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0mm) Fully Ground highest quality for about $20 including tax and delivery is one of or biggest sellers - in fact we are working on offering an M35 (5% Cobalt) version of the same thing within the next 6 months.
Thanks again Gallegos
Cheers
Ben

Progress Report
G'day Crowie
I'm almost there mate.
I have had approval from the powers that be and should be able to put a post up soon in a special promotions thread designed for this type of thing - say within the next week or so.
Wen I do I will post a note in this thread just to let anyone who has been following the conversation and is interested know about it.
Cheers
Ben

14 Hour Days
Hi Rod
Yes we are still playing catch up on some of our websites n new products. We have most of our M35 and M2 Imperial & Metric Drill Bits up on our.com.au website but still finalising the last sets including the one mentioned above. You can find it on eBay Australia at the moment (search: M2 replacement drill bits) but we should have it up on the Australian Website within the next week.
If you are from the US or the UK or NZ we are only just now rolling out Drill Bits in NZ with UK in 6 months.
Cheers
Ben
