I do not have any machines of that make so do not need any parts, but I would have liked that Churchill VB 6ft X 24" slideway grinder when he had it for sale and is still on his website but with sold on it...

Alec gets offered a lot of stuff. Some he does not touch for stock but will offer it on.He is low on tolerance of timewastesters but is nice and simple to deal weih and as honest as they come.Offer your price and you get a yes or no simple as that.
A few more people could do to follow his example.

Some of you blokes might have known Mark McGrath, from Scotland on some of the other forums.

I regret to inform you he passed away this morning.

    Thanks Phil,

I did see the thread on PM, and I've read some of his PM posts in the past, I'm sure his wisdom will be missed.

I was sorry to hear of the death of Mark. I never spoke or otherwise communicated directly with him, but enjoyed learning from his posts and enjoyed his humour.
He will be missed by me as well as many others.
    My condolences to his family.

With regard what appears to be one of his last posts, who is his mate Alec and how would one communicate with him?

    Regards

    Quentin

Kind of strange to be talking about a bloke with only 6 posts. He popped up here when I had that Wickman profile grinder that Stuart ended up with. He came good with complete scans of the 3 manuals.I'm not sure who Alex was. I've seen him mentioned in other places. He will be a crusty Scot.

I'm pretty sure R.C had a handle on that.

    Regards Phil.
