Identify T&C grinder bits
These bits came with my T&C grinder
There seems to be a few bits missing as I am having problems fitting it all together
Can somebody ID the parts ? Mike

Hi Mike,
I'd guess some parts are for grinding tools and others for grinding cutters.......
Really i have no idea, but the casting in pic 2 would be for drills and taps, maybe reamers (or would they be done between centers?) Pic 4 looks like collets and arbors for milling cutters.
You probably guessed that already.....
Is there something with an MT internal to hold the MT reducing sleeves? That would be for MT shanked drills.
Not really much help sorry,

The thing in photo two has a detent on the back so is for anything with multiple cutting edges that is sharpened on the end. The thing in photo 5 is for sharpening the flutes on the side of a drill or milling cutter. It should rotate freely and is used in conjunction with a blade that supports the cutter being sharpened.

OK . There isn't any attachment with a bore for the morse taper adapters I think a device bolts on top of the attachment with the 6 jaw chuck, it locates or clicks into the notches in the dividing collars . eg 2 or 4 or 6 .
I rang the importers STANDACO in Nunawading re: a manual . The receptionist on the phone said she had never heard of that brand of machinery being sold by them in 30 years since she had been there . So guessing it's from the 1970's I'd say . She said to ring back when the older guy who founded the company was there .

Hi Mike,
Tool and cutter grinders are pretty generic in the sense that they all have to do similar jobs as far as sharpening goes, so I'd start out by watching a few youtube videos on T&C grinding and you will soon work out what the various attachments and setups are and figure out what's missing.
