    Default Metal availability

Hello metal heads. Just between you and I all those woodworkers are just pussies - metals where its at

Before I get on the plane for the last time and take up roots in Aus I was wondering how hard it is to get short length of brass in round, square, hex... Up here we have a place called the metal supermarket where anyone can buy darn near anything in any length for a reasonable price. What I am specifically looking for is 50mm dia x 300mm length solid brass round stock. Would that be hard to find and should I load up before I come down.

    Hi Mathew
Brass is not a problem , there are plenty of places that specialise in
    non ferous metals.
Where in Australia are you moving to ?
You will have to get used to how flat it is out here our highest mountain is 6000 ft

I'll have to try that tonight and see if SWMBO wants to get to the "root" of the matter" (a saying that is common up here)
