    Default Another book review

    Hi

Just got hold of a neat 500 page reference book : SHOP REFERENCE FOR STUDENTS AND APPRENTICES Published around 2000

Shop Reference for Students Apprentices (Paperback) by Edward G. Hoffman: Industrial Press Inc.,U.S., United States 9780831130794 Paperback, 2nd edition - The Book Depository

It is a compilation of material taken from various books eg Machinery Handbook and others

The book is full of tables , charts , and also has chapters on many topics . It is well laid out and easy to read , unlike many older reference books . Sine bar charts and much more eg , lots of basic maths and trigonometry relating to machining , even involute functions, whatever that is ! .
