If you cant find suiyable pictures here look at the Southbend lathes, the Sheraton is probably a closer copy than the Hercus, particularly with the drive.
Most other parts are interchangeable between the 3 machines.

    Wayne,
What do you want pictures of? I don't have pictures but I do have a lathe and a camera. Only problem is that my lathe is being moved tomorrow and will be scattered around in pieces for a couple of weeks until the workshop is finished.

    Wayne,
I wasn't planning on taking it apart, and now there is no workshop for me to to do it in. As for the manual, I have never seen a Sheraton manual. It will be a month or so before I can play with it.

The Sheraton parts should be very similar to the South Bend ones.

A probably relevant parts list is here http://www.wswells.com/partslist/902D.pdf the model c part would be AS76NK1

The part you are talking about is probably very like this one South bend 9" 10K lathe apron gears assy AS76NK1 (the Southbend Model C part is different to the part for models A and B)
    or
SOUTH BEND 9 IN/10K LATHE PINION GEAR AND STUD ASSEMBLY PART #AS76NK1 | eBay

There will be someone here who either has or knows that part, this is that kind of place.

    Greg
