Hi Michael,
excellent idea as well.
I was just thinking about any extra info as to whether or not it should be sent somehow to me to save several mailouts or do we just let it die a natural death after this one. There is certainly a heap of info on it now.
One last thing is the reminder about copyright etc. It is all good at the moment but just be aware of any new info we might find.

Hi,
Does anyone know if the stick is currently travelling or due to go around soon?
Haven't seen any progress for a while.
Regards
David

Hi Phil Hi guys,
Now that I have a shaper, I would also be interested too. I had totally forgotten about the stick until David asked the question!
SimonGirl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.

Funny you should say that guys, Bruce (Argeng) contacted me and asked the same question. I have pulled the old stick out and am assembling extra material I found. I have also prepared a list using the original plus a couple of extras. Garry Edwards has sent me another stick that is filled with all manner of metalwork instructions on another stick so that is in the kit as well. I was thinking that if I was to make three sets of sticks and put a list of forwarding names in each post pack it might be a quicker way of doing the rounds with the added security of still having a set or two if any misplacements occur. Here is the list so last call for names. Anymore to go on, also is there any that should come off due to them not being around anymore? I'll need confirmation from most to make sure. Thanks guys

Hi Phil. I can help speed things up by sending you a blank USB stick. If you send it back then I can start from the bottom of the list and work upwards.....

The Brotherhood of the Travelling Stick
Thanks Graeme (anglesmith), that's the post I was looking for. I found a few more names as well and I think I have them in order.
Great idea Simon, we will have a spare stick and halve the mailing time.
The updated list so far. I might PM any of the names that have gone silent lately.

Guys, I have a possible solution to this.
Rather than passing a stick around physically, why doesnt someone upload the contents to a filesharing site? It appears that there have been lengths taken to make sure there are no copyright materials on it, so distribution isnt illegal. It would save mailing fees and mean that all could access the files at their leisure, even updates to the information would be more straightforward.
