Isn't it available as a brazing filler rod?. you should be able to buy a range of diameters up to about 5-6mm, don't know about 16mm though.

Hi Russell,
Try George White, and, if googling, look for Phosphor Bronze.

Bronze would most likely work also but have not found any small rod yet.
Thanks

Its going to be a long shot, but they use bronze wire in sculptures. There’s a few google hits for artist’s using it here. You might try a good art / craft shop. They might be able to put you on to someplace. Or email one of the artist's.

Hi Russell,
When you say "phosphor copper" I'm taking that to mean "phosphor bronze" , but if this is feed stock for a foundry and you need the higher phosphorous % to make a particular alloy, then I'm wondering why you would want the specific wire sizes...
All of which has got me wondering what you are making...

I don't know enough about the make-up of the bronze, but i can easily get bearing bronze here in canberra. it comes in 1' lengths in all sorts of sizes. it doesn't machine like its oil filled, i can get a spec sheet next time i'm round that way if you like.
