Default Power feed for my mill...

...it looks a bit rough but it does work!

Now I need to make a PWM controller for it and tidy things up a bit..

Nice work John. I have mechanical power feed on my mill and one of the nice things about it is that the knock off stops are easily adjustable and very repeatable. How are you planning to implement stops for your mill's power feed?

Michael, you are way ahead of me!

However, with regards to catastrophic running to the end of the table travel the worm wheel is only clamped to the feed screw and would most likely slip before any damage was done, I suppose it would be a good idea if I made that into a real slip clutch.

Limit switches would be nice too, I will look at that tomorrow!
