    Default Is your Ebay working?

    Hi,

A bit off track, but just wondering if anyone else's ebay has gone all funny? The ebay pages on my computer seem to need to be reformatted or something (I'm obviously not much of a computer hacker).

    Cheers Ben.

Mine has been malfunctioning for months, stuff keeps arriving in the mail, and my bank balance keeps dropping...

Yes ebay is working... Try a different browser, and see if you still have the same problems.

Mine still seems to be stuck on ebay.de

Those guys have got some cool stuff. Shame about the shipping. Google translate makes the odd-must have pretty easy to negotiate. What a world.

I think that's a preference setting in your on-line banking system, go to "toolbox/preferences/max_bid and increase it to a higher value...

That got me to thinking, Ray....I wonder why ebay didn't think of installing a "win at any cost" button

I was thinking more along the lines of "Make Offer That Can't be Refused" button, click here for optional henchmen, and horse heads.....

Apologies to Ben, for the diversion, did you get it working yet?

    Bad programming practice.
If two bidders used it, there would be an endless loop.
The world would run out of money in two seconds flat

Ah! Henchmen. Of course its all done with lawyers and banksters now. PETA has put an end to the horse head business too. A world gone crazy.

    Bugsy.

I thought that was ebay's aim? They sure seem to do a good job on hoovering up my kid's inheritance dough.
