Agricultural Engineering!
I went to our local engineering suppliers to see if the layout stain I ordered had arrived and this is what DyMark had supplied...
As far as I can tell, it is actually the same stuff that I have got before nice thin blue colour, dries pretty fast.
The only thing I'm missing is some chickens and haybales to do my parts layout on.
Anyone know of a good supplier of spray-on layout stain..
Regards
Ray

Same here but I had some old dymark spray and did a comparison.
The old dymark is different stuff being a deeper ,darker dye.
This new stuff is what they put on flyblown skin on and wounds on animals. I gave it to my friend who has a neddy.
Marking out dye it isn't. It looks like the accountants are running the show at Dymark. No more purchases of their brand.

This is the one I use ,still by Dymark , around 38.00 for a litre ,but I expect my grand kids will still be using it in 20.years time.

I used the spray stuff a few years ago and found that it peeled off very easily and came off when hit with coolant.

copper sulphate and acid FTW...
Any acid will do from an orange (citric acid), vinegar etc etc..
