Hi Garry,
motor listed on the brochure is 1/2 to 1 horsepower. Mine came with a 0.55kW. "fr" (frame?) is 56LD1158. Which doesn't mean much to me at the moment but it is a pretty standard looking foot mount.
Hope this helps.
I'm still interested in some change gears, shall we do a group order with pipeclay?

Premo Lathe
Andrew,
Thanks for the motor info, the 56 is a standard foot size for the motor.
Did you want the metric gears or the imperial set?
Regards
Garry

Garry,
a couple of each to make the 'set'. They are 16, 35, 55, 60 and 64 tooth gears.

Hi Gary, I have a Premo Mk1, has had the bull gear and back gear rebuilt thanks to Pipeclay - a fellow forum member
I can’t get to the lathe for a little while but i’ll get you some pictures and sizes of the pulley when I can. Information on these lathes appears a bit scarce, does yours have any charts or change gear arrangement table inside the change gear cover? Maybe someone else on here might have something?
Cheers Leigh

I have recently got a Premo MK 2 I believe. It has the quick change gearbox.
I am currently rebuilding the lathe.
I dont have any photos ATM, but in time I will be able to help you.
