    Default Forum resizing pics automatically?

Hi, I compress my pics in photoshop so they are under 100K. Sometimes I make them for eg. 950pixels wide or 1000+pixels long. Sometimes the overall physical size of the pic gets reduced once uploaded even though it is under 100K?

Does the forum software automatically reduce the overall size of the pic for some reason?
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Yeap, 800x600, has been doing that for a while.
They still have to be under 100k to upload.

I loaded all the Tasmanian Timber & Working with Wood Show photos straight off the PC without resizing, and the forum reduced them from up to a Meg to all under 100k, took a little while to happen though.
