Hang on, are you expecting to see the counts show up permanently on each post as the count for when you made that particular post?
ie post 1 count shows as xxxx
post 2 count shows as xxxx+1
post 3 count shows as xxxx+2
etc
This not how it works
after post #1, if the count is xxxx
Then
After post #2 IT will show up as xxxx+1 and if you go back and look at post #1 it will also show as xxxx+1
After post #3
Post 3 will show up as xxxx+2 and as will post #1 and #2 show as xxxx+2
The post count for a member on every one of their posts shows their current total post count whether it's on their very first post or their last.
My guess is this is to show anyone reading any posts what the "posting experiences" is of that member.

Hi China
A silly question, perhaps, but how long since you have shut down your computer and re booted it ?
I was sure that spew tube was was jamming up on me and found that the act of shutting down the iMac and starting it an hour later made the problem go away.
Might work for you and it might not.
Nothing to lose.

Is commenting about post counts just a way to push up your post count so that you look more experienced than you are .
If so +1 for me.
