We had a inquiry re quill spring replacements last year, if I recall correctly.
Is your quill spring measured as an expanded diameter or is this measurement as compressed still in its retaining cup.
Hafco's site shows one compressed in the cup at around 60mm which will likely be around 70mm odd when expanded.Fit is not critical.
Trouble is though they want $50 for it.
Whats the ID of your existing retaining cup/cover?
Toolex shows one https://www.toolex.com.au/categories/Z/ZMC/ZMD at $10 but measurement unknown.
Scroll down the page a bit and see part no, 500707- Spring and cover. No illustration but data is given.
It is probably worthwhile phoning them up.
My guess is that the replacement quill spring is pretty much a generic fit. Same as my circa 90s 16 speed Taiwanese DP.
