Grahame...with all due respect, we do not know if anyone is looking into this matter unless someone tells us!!
Last I knew was your reply that it was in your opinion seemed okay...and asked if I had rebooted computer etc etc etc. Grahame, I did advise that all was okay on the WWF but not here..
I re-iterate ..we dont know if its being attended to or not if Admin says stuff all...
And I use a windows PC..maybe these questions can be asked first ??
Incidently my system is setup to clear cache as soon as I shut down IE or FF
Also I posted the screen shots to show the difference between FF and IE

Hello eskimo
Below is a copy of the response I gave you on WWF in the thread Metalwork forums is busted... thread. Posted 25th February 2019 02:39 PM complete with pathetic joke in the response. What I did neglect to say was that I did the tests on MWF not WWF but figured that being as how it was in a MWF thread that you would have thought I did the test here and not on WWF.
Being as how you are the only one reporting this problem it would appear that it comes from your end and not MWF otherwise I would expect there should be a number of posts with the same problem.
My response on WWF
Did a test and had a roam around and all worked fine no freezes and if anything running a good deal faster than last week due to a further update to latest php.
Possible at that hour of the morning your computer was running background programs, updates, security scans, etc and this could have caused the freezes,
If it's still happening can you post a screen shot of any message you might get when it next freezes up.
All else aside.... With the name eskimo I'm surprised you are worried about a little freeze when your name suggests you are from the deep freeze.
Sorry about that I just couldn't help myself.
Cheers - Neil
As per the above this was almost lightening fast due to update of php after the forum went off line due to server problems in Texas US of A... Not everything's bigger and better in Texas

I lie there was a problem with that last post it said there was a problem loading the page after hitting submit. However that was probably my fault as I left the post halfway through for around 2 hours and was inadvertently logged out when I hit the reply button.
Hit back which took me to the message. Ctrl A, Ctrl C.... Refreshed the login, back message was still there so hit Submit Reply. Got a message saying it was a duplicate but It wasn't. At least I couldn't find it.
Fact of the matter is that the problem still seems to be at your end.
I know that's not really of any help to you, but for now until others say they are having problems that's about the best I can do for you. Will have Steven look at it but if like me, he can't reproduce the problem, there is nothing he can do either.

Will put in a report to Steven. There's still a few things need to be fixed on MWF but waiting until WWF is upgraded so both can be done at once.
The blank page page thing after hitting submit is something a different and has also been reported so will see if a fix for that will sort out your problem. Hoping to find all problems on MWF before upgrading WWF as the big forum being broken could be a major disaster.
Will keep all informed as to what comes.
If you haven't done the full upgrade to the latest windows 10 it might bee worth doing but be warned it takes ages to upgrade with lots of restarts. Seems to have fixed a number of niggling little problems on my computers.
PS Not saying the Windows 10 upgrade will fix it but nothing to lose.
Factory and home computers run 24/7 Laptop is the only one I shut down regularly. Are you a registered member? Why not? CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. It's free and takes less than a minute!
