Default Capital and bold letters for thread title.

There must be some way I can type the title of a thread on the
Forum using capital and bold lettering.

It works ok in the message area but I can't see how to do it
    for the TITLE.

    Any clues please.

Allan, as far as I know, the edit functions such as bold and font size only work for the actual edit box, not the title box.

It would create quite a messy page of posts in iSpy and New Posts if everyone would use a different font size and bold etc.

Fred is right. Bold cannot be incorporated in a title

Capitals can be used in title but cannot be used for entire title, eg below.
Timber FOR URGENT SALE = OK
TIMBER for URGENT SALE = OK
TIMBER FOR URGENT SALE = NOT OK!!!

    Default Bold title?

Huh? On my browser (Firefox, without upgrades) the titles are automatically bold. For both the OP and subsequent replies, if added.

In the search results, e.g. from Today's Posts, bold indicates not yet read; un-bold after reading and refreshed. Might be a color change too.

    Cheers,
    Joe

Joe, Allan is talking about capitals and bold in the title of a new message or reply to post.

So was I. In my first line of text, and the added title.

Default BOLD TITLE HERE - BUT NOT IN THREAD TITLE - honest

A title for a post, is bolded in the post, but cannot be made bold in the title of a Thread and you cannot use all caps in a Thread Title or in a Post Title for that matter.

All new or unread Threads will be bold on the home page until you read them and bold in the first line of the thread or post but can't be physically made to remain bold on the front page or all capitals as there is no provision for the use of either vbcode or html code, as can be done in a post.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Cheers
