For those of us with a 6X4 Bandsaw (or any other sized bandsaw), going from cutting a bit of 3mm on edge to cutting 150mm on its flat, can be very time consuming. I had this idea of fitting an Allen key of the correct size into a cordless driver drill, to speed up the process.
It works well, just have to remember to slow start the wind out as it will unscrew the bolt.
This idea should also work for those that have a hex headed bolt, just grab an elcheapo socket and weld a bit of bar to fit in the drill if you don't have 1/4" hex adaptor to suit the socket.
