This is usually when a mate or the boss etc calls and says "I'm desperate for a XYZ - and everyone else is still shut - can you make me one by lunchtime tomorrow"

lathe cleaning
Now that brings back lots of good memories, dirty smelly clothes and black hands
The lathe will be all the better for it.
