    Default Sheraton Cadet Lathe

    Hello
I am looking at buying a Sheraton lathe
It has a 3 phase motor
I would like to fit a single phase motor
Does any one know the size (hp) on the cadet lathe

    Hi Stevo,

    Welcome to the forums !

If you are thinking of buying a new single phase motor, it might be more cost effective to get a single to three phase VFD instead. You can find the motor size on the rating plate which will help in determining the VFD size required.
    Best Regards:
    Baron J.

    Thanks Baron,
    that's a great idea.
Will actually be cheaper than buying a new single phase motor
