Sieg C6, Grizzly G0516, Hare & Forbes AL-60 Metal Lathe Modifications
Known as the Sieg C6 or the Grizzly G0516 or the Hare & Forbes AL-60 metal lathe. A look at some of the mods that I have done on this 10x22 lathe.

Thanks for sharing with us Jim ,some great ideas there. I'm particularly interested in your tailstock readout and your carriage stop. Have you done video's on these.

The tailstock readout is very simple. Just grind the sharp bits off a cheap digital caliper and drill a hole (need carbide drill bit, this chinese SS is extremely hard!) and then make an ali collar for the tailstock quill.
I couldn't be without this now, its invaluable to me.
