I would just use a bolt on crimp lug...maybe solder the wire to the lug....like these

After all the lug you have shown uses a screw.

Since not being able to find the original's I'm going the place each terminal in a vice and drill out the cables than bend the crimp tab's out with a nail or plyers

I'll than heat each terminal with the propane torch and recoat it with solder than recrimp it onto new cables

Very time consuming job but its all i can do

Aftermarket lugs may not fit as some terminals are bent 90 degrees

I'd be going with the eskimo lugs too.

Use cable lugs. Nothing else you have considered will be adequate. Cable lugs can easily be bent to 90 degrees. I would not solder. A proper crimp and some shrink tube will be much better.

Eskimo's lugs need a 3mm hole for the screw's, i measured the cable last night they are 4mm2 so there will be lugs out there in this size cable i just have to search for 4mm2 and 3mm holes if i were to go that way

Not sure yet and no promises, but I have a stash of small cable lugs some of which may be the correct size, so I'll have a look tonight or tomorrow. If I do, maybe I can send you some.

The lugs I have are much like the CG2.5M4 H1436A at this link -

    https://www.gvk.com.au/pdf/utiliux.pdf

They are actually thicker for the 1.1mm C dimension at 1.7mm. ID of wire section is close to 4mm diameter. Hole diameter is 4mm. All other dimensions are close to what is stated on the chart. Overall they are quite a bit heavier duty than you normal spade (blade?) connector. Not sure if there's an amperage rating available for these. If you want a few I could probably spare a dozen, so PM me your details and I'll slip them into an envelope for you. If you are in a hurry I am sure they would be available local to you.

Just found 6-4 stamped on the lug which I am sure is suitable for 6mmSq cable and has a 4mm diameter mounting hole.
