Thread: I hate 15amp sockets.

32A female to a 15A male. Pigtail. But I'm sure you knew that.
I've seen them used, but I don't think they are commercially available... also quite pricy to make one up for the cost of a female plug and a length of cord. Doing it properly would have a circuit breaker somewhere in the adapter like those amphibian ones the grey gonads use on their caravans.
As long as you work the machine inside a reasonable output/load you will be fine. The problem exists when the user gives it the beans and expects the 15A circuit to handle the abuse.
For me using something liek this is the same idea as why I won't ride a motorbike. The temptation to twist that throttle would be too much- and I'd end up a red smear and a bag of meat on the side of the road.

It is the other way around. No different to putting a ten amp plug into a 15 amp socket.
Gold, the colour of choice for the discerning person.
