Hi Aaron,

The camper has a cassette toilet and its own built in water supply that is manually filled, so its not filled by the camper water pump.

The pump itself has a pressure switch that turns it on and off, so when you turn a tap on, the water pressure drops and the pump starts a few seconds later. Turning off the tap causes the water pressure to rise, stopping the pump. The stop/start delay is caused purely by the action of the accumulator, which behaves like a spring, only its the compression of the air contained inside it.
