Default Fleebay motor and VFD package

I saw this package on fleebay and was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with either the motor to the VFD?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Three-Ph...r=472632446622

I've read most of the thread about VFDs and know it's important to match the VFD to the motor, hence why I thought this package would be a good idea.

Are you aware that the VFD is a 3P to 3P unit ie cannot run that from 240V?

yeah, I realised AFTER posting it. The same mob do a similar kit, but single to 3 phase.

As for matching the motor to the VFD . as long as the VFD is higher rated than the motor, provided it's programmed correctly it should be safe.

Conon are a reasonable company. I have one of their motors and installed a couple of others for mates.
If you shop around you can do better on VFDs.

Not really all that cheap. I've picked up new old stock 3 phase motors before for $50 - $100 0.75kw - 2.2kw, these were name brand motors. Just make sure they can run at 240V.

Also you would be better off going for a Vector based VFD. The Powtran drives that BobL uses are pretty good value.
