Thanks for the kind offer, but my days of soldering the likes if DB25 are long gone.

The solution will be screw terminals, crimps or soldering to a PCB adapter card.

I have the original BOB (Break Out Board) used for the printer port on the desktop that ran the mill for many years.

The local electronics shop, Altronics, has nice matching header/plug that would be ideal as a disconnect facility.
This could be a small PCB with two headers to get the pin count.
Screw terminal plugs to the MPG, the Mesa side soldered to the PCB.
