Would you know if this was likely to be an ongoing conversion????
Unfortunately that the cost of business nowdays, try finding a place in China that might do the job, if you still want to go ahead with it. I'll offer to try to get it done at our cutter's place, if you can send me a PM with your email, I'll reply with mine to send the dwg file to. I can't say they'll be any cheaper or not as I don't know.
Our CNC Plasma cutter isn't set up yet, it'll take a 2400X3000X25mm sheet

I am still at a loss here ,this is a drill press and an angle grinder job, yes some one could do it on a jig borer or a CNC mill, get it water jet or plasma cut, but at the end of the day ,you don’t want to pay the market price, you could have made it by now and be out on the bike doing skids

The laser cutting company replied to my email today and said they can cut 3 sets for the $231 so works out $77 a set
They wont be consistent from one to another, they wont be tidy and they'll likely be time consuming to make, at $77 a set that works out very good happy to pay that than make them my self which would likely take a few hours

This is a great forum very helpful and friend people here over the years i have received help by a few personally one guy spent hours machining wheel spacers twice for me and now i have a lathe i know exactly how time consuming they are to make... you may think a wheel spacer 5min job but stopping and starting than trying to get down to exact 00.05mm it easily eats into the hours making up a kit
than the bloke helping me now with the disc adapter and brake relocating bracket's bloody ripper got them next to nothing money wise
hadn't realized how much laser jetting and the like cost i thought it would be pretty simple but seems they need a technical operator to program and that in its self cost all the money, i think that is why i was quoted $231 job was $210 + GST lot of that coin would have gone into the labor, Shops usually charge $100 $120 an hour in labor for most services i have never looked into what actually goes into setting up these machines but it sounds like it would be complicated
thanks to the person who said to ask about multiple pieces as if i had paid that $231 i would have paid that for each set and bought them as needed its a bit sneaky that the local laser cutter didn't even mention this to me Until i asked about it
