    Default It does pay to check your 3pin plugs

    Dont know why I looked...but I did. Tis a while since I fitted it tho.

    Oh dear. Not good.
    I have some heavy duty power cord here if you want to try again. (Some numpty managed to cut an extension cord at work. Plugs were moulded on, so one end has a socket - the plug end is in use)

    Mmm...might replace all of the lead....trimming back revealed insulation is breaking down within on all 3 cores..

    I cannot see what the problem is. The important plastic bits that hold the pins is not melted yet.
    Gold, the colour of choice for the discerning person.
