Minor wound care
On Thursday while cleaning up some swarf I managed to nick the end of my finger. Nothing serious but red stuff everywhere.

I normally keep a supply of bandaids in the shed for these occasions but only had one left and it was of the plastic strip type, so while it could be applied to the cut, the sides were open and as soon as I tried washing my hand it allowed water in and got soggy.
Quick trip to the supermarket and I found these -

I would highly recommend them. They stick well, conform to the shape of the wound site (seem to be on an elastic base) and are waterproof enough to keep things underneath dry.
