    Thumbs up Scotish Holiday Pictures.

    Hi Guys,

Whilst on holiday in Scotland a couple of weeks ago I noticed this submarine heading into port on the Clyde near Glasgow. Note all the Police and marine security vessels around it escorting it into port. The cruise ship was just a distraction !

Look how close she came to the shore line, maybe only a hundred meters away.

Though this was only one of the several cruise ships we saw.
    Best Regards:
    Baron J.

    Default Nautilus

The prototype for that modern style of sub must have been the USS Nautilus , it was built in 1952 and kept kept in service til 1980 . Look at how sub technology advanced from the 1940s slow slugs to these fast monstors, just SEVEN years after ww2.
