Another maths question
Three hole M8 mounting on a PCD of 142mm. What is the distance between the centre of one hole if you draw a line through the centre of the other two holes?
Hope that makes sense. With rough measurements I get 107mm.Nev.

Easy to do in CAD but I am several hours from a computer at the moment.

I got my measurement by screwing three 8mm bolts into the holes, them placing a straight edge against the inside of two of the bolts and measuring from the outside of the third bolt, to the outside of the straight edge. Probably good enough, but want it as close to perfect as I can get.

Would also like the centre to centre distance between two holes. I get roughly 123mm.

Hi Nev, should you ever need something like this again, there is a posting at the bottom of the Forum with practically everything that you'll ever need, just a matter of searching through the listing.
Have put a link to it below. I use it VERY often.

Hope this helps with future mathematical questyuns.
