    Not happy folks ,

My mistake. I allowed some leeway and it was taken advantage of

Right away it has degenerated into a personal attack. Shed happens- read the rest of the TOUs with regard to personal attacks.

Make your point without the Utube links.

That post containing the attack will be deleted. Continue in the same vein and I will close the whole thread.

Grahame I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about?
I see that you have deleted my post #9 to bob....in no way that was an attack and in no way was an attack intended, i was responding with information that was required for him to assess..... the documents were official and the vid that was linked to contained interviews with experts directly giving information about the subject at hand.
I request that you reinstate that post as i feel that you are over reacting and that you have removed information that is vital to the understanding of this thread....there is a need here to demonstrate what is correct and what is not.

Personally I don't think we can do much about this from a political level.
The biggest impact we can make is a personal and educational level. Sure some products we can't buy Australian made at the moment.

What we can do is aim to buy Australian manufactured. The easiest way is to educate each other on quality Australian manufactured products.
We can also encourage Australian business to let us know how Australian their product is. Trailers have been mentioned. A trailer can be Australian made using imported steel, paint, castings for hubs and tow hitch, tyres and electrics.

Our local manufacturing started from cottage industries. It would be interesting to see a breakdown on how Australians spend their money.
I would assume food would probably be the biggest part. There are a number of people that are willing to spend money on quality and Australian made. These companies need to let us know that there product is Australian ingredients, in Australian packaging made on Australian made equipment.

Lets look inside our shed. When we do a restoration on an old machine lets use Australian paint and such.

If anyone requires the documents that validate the videos presented in the 1st post they are readily available online from government websites and are also widely discussed elsewhere.

The the moderator has requested that I "do not make my point by using youtube links" and I am happy to abide, so if anyone here would like to see with their own eyes and hear with their own ears what some of the worlds most eminent and most published scientist's have to say about how your industrial past and future and jobs and also please don't forget about your children's futures that have been stolen then just put this quote into a search engine "The great global warming swindle Full version" you will find it on many different video platforms, this is just one vid of many but due to media censorship you likely are not aware of them or maybe have dismissed this as someone told you it is a conspiracy theory....these same people also didn't tell you that they have pretty much destroyed the whole of the western worlds industries.

As stated previously our hydrocarbons/energy deposits and our Reserve Bank of Australia have been usurped from us and are foreign owned, they have a plan for a "4th industrial revolution" and guess what....YOU ARE NOT INVITED !!!!!!

I think for a little bit of perspective we need to zoom out a bit and have a look at the larger picture in the scheme of things, a bit of science that may have you thinking about why a close down of industry is needed at all.......

The first chart fits into the little red square on the far right in the second chart.

They never stop banging it into your head, if a lie is told often enough for long enough does it become the truth?

Australia is the land of drought and flooding rains, while in drought we were told that our dams were never to fill again so we spent billions of $$$$$ building desalination plants....in vic it has never been needed!!!!!

In England they were told that snow is a thing of the past....anyone remember snowmaggedon after that quote?

There was/is a plan to deceive the public by withholding information and also to spread "fear" with disinformation.

Toyota left Australia because the courts would not allow them to renegotiate their EBA. Industrial relations which is the power foundation of one side of politics, is in my view, the single biggest contributor to the hollowing out of our industries. Remember the Unions boasting about how they were running Holden and doing a better job. Indeed! Imagine having a job paying $130K a year and your role is talking to people about their grievances. In between talks you how have a phone and the internet to ease the boredom. The Federal court is by and large a welfare system for lawyers. How did we cope without it.

    Hi Guys,

They never stop banging it into your head, if a lie is told often enough for long enough does it become the truth?
    Maybe a reality !

The same here ! The national news says fuel prices are going up because of the Ukrainian war. Fine we understand that, but fuel prices have now gone up by two or three pence a litre every day for about four weeks. Our local filling station takes a fuel delivery about every five or six days, yet the price has gone up every day by a few pence. Currently petrol is £1.98 a Ltr it was £1.96 yesterday, Diesel was over £2.02 a Ltr yesterday and its now £2.05 a Ltr. That means that prices have gone up by about £0.10p a Ltr just this week.
    Best Regards:
    Baron J.

So if you keep banging on about "it" for long enough I am supposed to believe you? It will never happen.

Whatever you believe is up to you. One would hope that it is a result of observation, reflection and reasoning. The big problem we have nowadays is that most people don't bother anymore. Self proclaimed experts, touting their opinion which is based on Google result page summaries or yesterdays TV news. It's also much saver to go with the consensus, rather than standing alone with your opinion. Except truth isn't based on a majority vote, just like Galilei has shown the world.

I know a guy who is deeply concerned about "global warming". He commutes to work from Sydney to Brisbane 40 times a year, that is 80 domestic flights. He lives in a mansion with pool and AC, has two cars. His solution to "global warming" is that we all pay a 10% tax and that will fix the problem.

    Cheers,
    Frank

I doubt very much that you watched the Ann Bressington speech as she was spilling the beans on exactly what you were concerned about, maybe you need to watch it and then come back and have a say. If you have a gripe then talk about it and provide information of some kind of info to justify your opinion, we might have a different ideas thoughts and/or knowledge about wretched state of affairs but i for one would appreciate your honesty....

Yeah some unions just cause trouble to justify their existence and in the end cause damage for employer and employee, good point though and i think that the problem has been a multi faceted attack but if you follow the money you will find that our problems are contrived and controlled by international players, our country has many people involved with the UN....we will get to that later

Chris - Self proclaimed experts was not directed at you personally but a general observation.
You really aren't contributing anything of value to this discussion, so perhaps best if you actually see yourself out and spare us.

    All the best,
