I often come across a bargain on the net so thought I would start a thread on it.

Unusual for Repco but they have these Knipex Plier Sets on clearance and not a bad price. I got one yesterday.

I've noticed Repco getting into selling CIG welding equipment , Milwaukee tools , and even trailer wheels & tyres. I tried buying a CIG product recently but they wouldnt accept the normal NRMA discount that applies to members so i didnt buy it.

They are what are known in the retail industry as loss leaders.

Get the public in store with a cheap but under stocked item and sell the other products at normal or sometimes mark up prices.

Let the buyer beware.

Kits like these are really handy when starting out with very little or nothing,
The usual problem for me with kits these days is invariably I really only need one of the items and even then said item is not really the size I'm after.

Grahame, shouldn't that read sometimes mark up over inflated prices.
