After a bad night I got feeling back in the arm today. Maybe he hit a nerve or something. Anyway, back to pretty much what it was before. Little pain but still limited freedom of movement.

Not good. I'm still waiting for 3rd injection last one 2 yrs ago one prsvious 2015. Good days bad days, some dreadful nights. End of August before injection. Still trying to use right arm when it allows me in the worksop but often 2 to 3 days rest after.

Hope things get better for you. I am now to go for an MRI because my specialist and the other guy disagree on what the problem is.

Full sympathies on the shoulder pains, had a similar thing around 2010. First the left shoulder went and then, favouring the right shoulder all the time that went as well. 2 shots in the left made little difference. They both came good about a year later - would hate for this to happened again.

The last 3 days have not been pleasant. Sue took care of it this morning with some physio stretches forcing my shoulder back while bracing my arm. What relief 6th August is injection day.

Hi,
Are you guys getting physio as well as medical treatment? I can't emphasize how beneficially physio is.
I see a physio regularly and I do a lot home physio (which I learnt from my time at the physio) to get my shoulder and now back strong and functional. I've had several shots into my shoulder but I know I would of had more and possibly surgery if I didn't listen to and follow the directions of the physio.
I feel your pain. Best of luck Ben.

Ben I have or had been seeing physio each fortnight until recent lockdown lockdown here. He generally eased the problem but haing to use the shoulder as soon as I retrun to the car to transfer often caused it to flare up. For the last 4 weeks little shed time no physio other than some massage and stretches by LOML i had little to no pain.
Until last night and after a day in the shed its let me know it is still not great.

Been a while and still on work cover for now. They want to offer a payout of what I consider a rather small amount. Have seen a lawyer about this and signed up. Anyone have experience with this process? I have five days to accept or cancel the agreement. If I win they get paid very well.

The lawyers for my shoulder case got 50K and I got about 20K which I think is about par for the course. As for cortisone, I am a sceptic, I have seen a lot of this as in my industry shoulder problems just came with the job and none of them gave long term relief and then you have to wait for a fairly long time before they did the op they should have done instead of the jab. The doctor I was seeing tried to talk me into it and after some meaningful back and forth he could see I was not buying into his BS and then admitted it had only a minor chance of helping!!
