    Default Money saving tip

Have a great money saving tip here.

Bought a Japanese made tap M12 and it was pricey, so on the second hole I thought why not save some money and make another tap.

So there you go. Now I have two taps. A great money saving tip I thought.

    Hi Guys,

Funnily enough I broke my only 10x32 tap on Friday I've not broken one for a few years now ! That will teach me not to drop them onto a tiled floor.

Anyway my new set of three came this morning from "Avon Tap & Die" ! British made HSS £15.76 inc P&P and tax. Nice to discover that they were not Chinese ones. Half the price of Dormer ones.
    Best Regards:

Reminds me around 20 years ago, somebody came by to borrow a LH 5/16" unf tap on a weekend, give him the lecture to take care of a less easy to acquire and expensive tap as a precaution. Just as I start to hand it over, the clumsy gene comes to the fore and onto the concrete it tumbles...you can guess the rest.
