When they are all huddled together in one ball of fluff it’s pretty hard to tell how many are there. Much easier at feeding time.
My wife was quite amused with the cleanup after meals. Half eaten bird carcass gets taken away from the nest by mum, and she returns very soon after without it. Presumably dropped like a takeaway container on a Chinese street!
Possibly not quite as amusing for the punter walking down Collins St that’s just pulled the lid of his takeaway coffee

If there's any justice in the world the chicks are being fed feral cat.

Amazing to see how quick the little beggers grow, I log in everyday or so and I'm constantly amazed. I don't imagine flight is that far off.

    Default Long way down!!!

Yes they're losing that chick-fluff with the REAL feathers showing now.
I've seen one looking over the edge, I'm wondering if he's thinking.... Ooooh-errr... it's a long way down kids !!!!!!

If you've seen how full they gulp food into their crop its no wonder they are growing so fast. I thought one of the chicks crop was going to burst...it was bloody huge....lol

Yes, the pressure on mum and dad to provide enough tucker for the little buggers now they're so big must be pretty full-on!
I wouldn't be surprised if the parents don't get to a certain point when they literally just kick the kids off the parapet so they have to do their own thing - IF they're up for it!
    Great to watch though eh?
